Heyo! Below you will find the full project work-up for my latest concept: Connect Social Technology. Quick disclaimer: this is not a paid client project. There are areas where this concept would have been expanded or more articulated. Thanks for taking a look. Please explore the sections below to learn more about this fun social concept!

The Problem

The company needed a cohesive brand strategy that could articulate its core values of innovation, human-centered technology, and connection in a way that resonated across all touch points.

Logo Inspiration

The idea behind the logo comes from the idea of connection. This design represents how technology, people, and ideas intersect, creating a visual metaphor for the networks and relationships the company fosters through its innovative solutions.

Logo Construction

The logo is built from perfect, equally sized circles, with nodes connecting to symbolize unity and connection. Thoughtful negative space enhances openness, reflecting the brand’s focus on seamless collaboration and innovation.

Colors

I decided to use a fun, energetic set of colors for this project to symbolize the many different sides of connection. Multiple colors add energy, modernity, and fun to the brand.

Social Media & Marketing Materials

I chose to use energetic hand-drawn patterns, gradients, and cool angled bursts of color to tie the social media vibe to the printed marketing materials. I grounded the designs with black and white to provide contrast with the colorful patterns/gradients.

Brand Splash

Using the colors we established above, I began conceptualizing a splash page that touches into possible brand photography and app icon design. This aspect of the project could use some more work to add extra brand elements. One thing I might do in the future.
Brand splashes (like the one above) are helpful for designers and clients alike to understand how the assets, colors, and typography fit together in a quick assortment.

Icon Design: Application Usage

I expanded on the icon design and gave it its own spotlight to showcase the custom brand background assets and color gradients.

Business Card Design

What would a good concept project be without your standard "What would it look like on a business card?" test? In this picture you will find just one way to showcase the brand logo and business information in an eye-catching, colorful two-sided business card.

The Solution

I developed a cohesive brand identity centered around a vibrant gradient color palette and modern typefaces to reflect the company’s values of innovation and connection. To reinforce the brand, I designed key materials, including sleek business cards, thank-you mailers for subscribers, and engaging social media post templates. This solution provides consistency and impact across all platforms, strengthening the company’s presence and client trust.
